Angelina Hotel is a 4-star hotel located on the largest island in Vietnam – Phu Quoc. Being in operation for over 2 years, however, Angelina Hotel has not stood out in the resort real estate playground. With this project, Gu undertakes the design of brand identity according to Angeline owners’ orientation: streamlined but still luxurious and high-class.
Taken from customers’ insights that Phu Quoc is an increasingly attractive tourist destination for young people, Gu delved into the design styles that appeal to this segment. They are young, income earners, they come to travel to enjoy life, experience and relax. They prefer minimalistic, but at the same time bright, eye-catching, eveything that complement the purpose of showing their own personality. Therefore, Gu chose the Scandinavian style with a European spirit, simple but modern, combined with dark blue and pink tones, inspired by the dazzling sunset on the Greek Santorini coast.
Gu started from sketching the logo on paper then perfecting the design digitally and developing, applying the design on brand stationeries.
